Claims Software for Brokers Who Run Claims for Clients

When your brokerage handles claims under delegated claims authority, each client expects its claims worked to its own rules and reported its own way. VCA ClaimsCore holds each client's setup and applies it on every claim your team opens.

Every property and casualty line. Not workers' compensation or health benefits.

THE PROBLEM IT SOLVES

Delegated claims authority puts a brokerage in the claims business. Every client wants its claims handled to its own standards, inside its own limits, and reported back on its own schedule, and the client relationship rides on every one of those claims.

CLIENT BY CLIENT

Every Client's Rules, on Every Claim

Each client in VCA ClaimsCore has its own profile, and the handler starts each claim with that client's rules already on it.

Workflows and rules can be set per client, program or policy type.

A BROKERAGE ON VCA

Delegated Programs and Claims Advocacy, One Platform

Western Financial Group runs delegated claims authority programs and claims advocacy across Canada on VCA, and expanded its use of the platform in 2026.

Part of setting up each client is knowing what to leave out: configure what matches the work, skip the rest, and add more as the book grows.

WHY VCA

Why Brokers Choose VCA

A brokerage running claims is judged by its clients on the claim, and by its own leadership on what the claims operation costs to run beside the brokerage.

  • Depth of Claims ExpertiseBuilt from the claim up, by an adjuster, for the people who work the claim. VCA has been building claims software for more than 20 years. Why VCA →
  • Speed of ImplementationDiscovery comes first, so nothing is configured until each client's handling is understood. Then you are live in weeks, and each new client is set up on the platform you already run.
  • Capital EfficiencyThe claims layer goes in beside the systems your brokerage already runs, with no suite to replace. ClaimsCore is complete on its own, and each add-on joins when a client needs what it does.

Questions Brokers Ask

What should a brokerage look for in claims management software?

A brokerage that handles claims under delegated claims authority needs what a TPA needs: one platform that holds each client's authority limits, rules and service standards and applies them on every claim, a view for each client that the brokerage controls, and reporting drawn from the claims themselves. In VCA ClaimsCore each client has its own profile and rules, ClientPortal adds the client view, and every VCA implementation starts with discovery.

Can each client have its own authority limits, rules and billing?

Yes. In VCA ClaimsCore, authority limits are configured per client or per program, and workflows and rules can be set per client, program or policy type. Each client has its own profile, and its rates, protocols and instructional documents carry into every claim handled for it. Time and expense are tracked against the claim by client and invoiced on fee schedules.

Can our clients see their own claims?

Yes, with ClientPortal, an add-on to VCA ClaimsCore. Each client gets a branded login to the claims that concern it, set by company, by claim and by tab. Portal users read status, shared notes and financials, message the adjuster, upload documents and submit new claims. Notes marked Internal stay off the portal.

Can one client see another client's claims?

No. On VCA, one client's claims can't be seen in another client's views or reports.

How are claim payments issued?

VCA ClaimsCore records every payment against the reserve it draws on. ClaimsPay, an add-on, issues the payment: through VCA's partnership with Vitesse, announced September 16, 2026, a payment approved in VCA is issued without re-keying payment details between systems.

Which lines of business does VCA support?

VCA supports every property and casualty line of business: personal and commercial lines, casualty, property, specialty and in-house programs. Not workers' compensation or health benefits claims.

How long does it take a brokerage to go live on VCA?

Every implementation starts with discovery: VCA maps how your claims actually move, including each client's authority levels and reporting obligations, before anything is configured. A Standard License deployment configured to your workflows is live in 3 to 4 weeks. Running several clients or programs side by side, with migrated claim history or integrations, is usually an Enterprise License deployment, at 8 to 16 weeks. Your band is scoped at quote.
