THE PROBLEM IT SOLVES
After first notice, the same questions keep reaching the claims desk: was it received, who has it, what happens next. Each answer pulls someone off a claim to repeat what the claim already shows.
WHAT IT DOES
What the Policyholder Can Do Without Calling
Four things a policyholder would otherwise phone or email your team about.
Digital First Notice
The intake steps capture the details, photos and location of the loss, and the report reaches ClaimsCore structured, with no rekeying.
Digital FNOL →Claim Status
The policyholder sees where the claim stands and who is handling it, updated as your team works it.
Document Upload
Photos, receipts and forms go onto the right claim in ClaimsCore as the policyholder sends them.
Two-Way Messaging
The policyholder and the claims team message each other directly.

WHY IT MATTERS
What Changes on Both Sides of the Claim
The policyholder waits less for answers, and your team spends less time chasing what a claim is missing.
Fewer Status Calls
The answer is already in front of the policyholder when they check, so fewer of those questions reach your desk.
Nothing to File Afterwards
Uploads are already on the claim, so nobody saves attachments out of an email and files them by hand.
First notice arrives with the details
The intake asks the policyholder for the loss details up front, so the adjuster starts from them instead of calling back to collect them.
Messages Beside the Claim
Your claims team replies to the policyholder in ClaimsCore, with the rest of the claim in view.
HOW IT FITS
On the Claim Your Team Works
InsuredConnect writes straight to the claim in ClaimsCore, so there is no integration to build and nothing to reconcile.

- Capital EfficiencyNot a rip-and-replace project: InsuredConnect is added to VCA ClaimsCore, the claims layer beside the systems you already run.
Questions About InsuredConnect
What is InsuredConnect?
InsuredConnect is VCA's policyholder self-service add-on to VCA ClaimsCore. From their phone or computer, policyholders report a loss, upload photos and documents, message the claims team and see where their claim stands, and everything they send lands on their claim in ClaimsCore.
Who uses InsuredConnect?
Policyholders use InsuredConnect directly, and your claims team works what they send on the claim in VCA ClaimsCore. It is part of the typical VCA package for TPAs and carriers.
Can InsuredConnect run in front of our existing claims system?
No. InsuredConnect is added to VCA ClaimsCore and writes to the claim there, so it is not sold on its own. ClaimsCore is complete without it, and adding InsuredConnect later means no second system to run and nothing to reconcile.
Does InsuredConnect carry our brand, and can each line of business ask its own questions?
Yes to both. InsuredConnect is branded to your organization, and its first-notice steps are configured by line of business or jurisdiction, so each report reaches VCA ClaimsCore with the details, photos and location that line needs.
What if a policyholder would rather call?
They still reach your team by phone or email, as they do today. InsuredConnect adds a way to report and follow a claim online; the calls that fall away are the ones that only ask where things stand.
How long does implementation take?
Every VCA implementation starts with discovery: nothing is configured until VCA has mapped how your claims move, including where first notices come from and what each line of business asks. Carriers plan on the Carrier License: 12 weeks to 6 months. An Enterprise License deployment runs 8 to 16 weeks, and on a Standard License, configured to your workflows, VCA ClaimsCore goes live in 3 to 4 weeks.
Can we take a copy of our claims data out of VCA?
While you are a client, DataBridge, an add-on to VCA ClaimsCore, delivers your claims data into your own data warehouse or BI tool on a schedule you set. For the end of an agreement, ask for the format, the timeline and the cost of returning your claims data in writing, and put the same question to every vendor you compare.
How is policyholder data protected?
The photos and documents a policyholder sends are timestamped on their claim in VCA ClaimsCore, where access follows the permissions you set, down to individual statuses and actions, with a record of who did what and when. Behind it, VCA holds SOC 1 and SOC 2 reports, each Type 1 and Type 2, examined by Prescient Assurance.
