ANALYTICS AND REPORTINGADDED TO VCA CLAIMSCORE
VCA Insights
VCA Insights is the analytics add-on to VCA ClaimsCore, for the people who answer to a board or to clients. From the portfolio, a program or a team, one click opens the individual claim.

Drill From the Book to One ClaimAny number opens down to the claim behind it
ClaimsCore reports on its own claims and queues. VCA Insights adds analytics across programs, carriers, offices and the book.
THE PROBLEM IT SOLVES
A board or a client asks about the whole book: which program is slipping, which office is behind. Too often the answer comes from an export of an export, and each pack is rebuilt by hand.
CAPABILITIES
What does VCA Insights add to ClaimsCore?
Each one answers a question a board or a client asks about the book.
Programs, Carriers and Offices, Side by Side
Compare how each one runs on open claims, average cycle time, reserve trends and payment velocity.
From the Book to One Claim
Start at the portfolio, a program or a team, and open an individual claim in one click.
Performance Against Your Thresholds
Caseloads, reserve usage, file progression, and first-contact and reporting deadlines by team and office, measured against thresholds you set.
Scheduled Reports
Reports go to your leadership or your client stakeholders on a schedule, with no manual export.
Views You Set Yourself
Filter by carrier, line of business, program, team or timeframe, and change filters, layouts and KPIs without code.
Branded for the People You Report To
Share dashboards and reports with the carriers and partners you answer to.
WHY IT MATTERS
What Changes When You Report Upward
Leadership and client packs come from VCA Insights on a schedule, not from exports.
The client review and the board pack agree
Both open onto the same claims, so nobody rebuilds a spreadsheet or reconciles two versions the week before.
Measured Against the Line You Drew
An office behind on its first-contact or reporting deadlines shows against the threshold you set, so nobody has to interpret a bare figure.
Asked About One Program
Open that program from the book and drill to its claims, without commissioning another export.
A client asks for its own view
Build the view once for the carrier or partner you answer to, instead of cutting an export for each request.
The Report You Hand Upward
Your logo at the top and the measures your clients ask about, sent to them on the schedule you choose.

HOW IT FITS
How VCA Insights Works with ClaimsCore, ClientPortal and DataBridge
Each does a different job, and VCA Insights replaces none of them.
- ClaimsCore keeps its own reportsStandard and company-wide reports, custom queries and live dashboards stay in ClaimsCore, whether or not VCA Insights is added.Reporting in ClaimsCore →
- ClientPortal shows clients their claimsYour clients open the claims that concern them in ClientPortal. VCA Insights adds the scheduled reports and branded dashboards you send them. What Your Clients Can See →
- DataBridge serves your own warehouseIf you also report from your own data warehouse or BI tool, DataBridge delivers your VCA claims data out to it, one way, as often as hourly. How DataBridge Works →
WHY VCA
Why Claims Leaders Choose VCA
VCA goes deep in claims, so the measures here are the ones your board and your clients already ask you about.
- Depth of Claims ExpertiseAn adjuster built VCA from the claim up, so teams are measured on the claims work itself: caseloads, reserve usage, file progression and deadlines. Why VCA →
- Speed of ImplementationBefore anything is configured, discovery maps the reporting obligations you answer for. VCA implementations complete in weeks, not years.
- Capital EfficiencyVCA Insights is added to the ClaimsCore you already run, so reporting across the book is not a second system to stand up and reconcile.
Questions About VCA Insights
What is VCA Insights?
VCA Insights is the analytics and reporting add-on to VCA ClaimsCore. It compares programs, carriers and offices across the whole book, measures teams against thresholds you set, sends scheduled and branded reports to your leadership and your clients, and drills from the portfolio, a program or a team to the individual claim in one click.
ClaimsCore already has reports and dashboards. Why add VCA Insights?
VCA ClaimsCore keeps its standard and company-wide reports, custom queries and live dashboards whether or not VCA Insights is added. VCA Insights adds the view across them. Programs, carriers and offices are compared on the same measures. Caseloads, reserve usage, file progression and deadlines are tracked against thresholds you set. Reports go to leadership and clients on a schedule, carriers and partners get branded dashboards, and one click drills from the portfolio to the individual claim.
Who uses VCA Insights?
Claims managers, supervisors, analysts and executives use it. It is typically brought in by claims executives, operations leaders, risk and compliance directors, and client-facing account managers.
We build reporting in our own data warehouse. Do we need VCA Insights?
Not necessarily. DataBridge, a separate add-on, delivers your VCA claims data out to your own data warehouse or BI tool on a schedule you set, as often as hourly, and your team builds the measures there. VCA Insights starts with the measures built: open claims, cycle time, reserve trends, payment velocity and thresholds by team and office, with scheduled client reports and a drill to the individual claim. Whichever you choose, ask every vendor you compare to put the format, timeline and cost of returning your claims data in writing.
Can we buy VCA Insights on its own?
No. VCA Insights is added to VCA ClaimsCore, which is complete on its own.
What does adding VCA Insights involve?
Every VCA implementation starts with discovery, and nothing is configured until the work is understood. For VCA Insights, that means agreeing the programs, carriers and offices you compare, where each threshold sits, and who receives which report.
