WHO WE SERVE
Claims Software for Every Seat
Every seat here is fulfilling the same promise. VCA ClaimsCore serves the operations that handle claims, the operations that answer for them, and the delegated side of the Lloyd's market, each configured to its own workflows, authority limits, and reporting obligations.
We care about how the claim ends: for the insured, the adjuster, and the client who answers for it.

Are you handling your own claims, or overseeing claims someone else handles?
A carrier that handles its own claims and a carrier that places every program with TPAs start in different places on the same platform. So does a broker running claims like a TPA, or a public entity running claims like a carrier. Start with the one that matches your day.
DOOR ONE
You handle the claims.
Your people work the claim: intake, adjusting, payments, reporting. ClaimsCore runs your operation on its own, and connects the parties you work with when you need it: assignments out to a panel, data back to a carrier client, reporting up to a program.
DOOR TWO
Someone else handles them. You still answer for them.
When your TPAs work on VCA, ClientPortal, an add-on, gives you your own login to the claims that concern you: status, financials, and, where your TPA turns it on, the reserve history showing who changed each reserve and why. If a TPA runs another system, name it when we talk and we'll tell you what connects.
BOTH DOORS
Running some in-house and placing the rest?
Both apply, and they run side by side. Take the door that matches the work your own people do. The programs you place sit beside it on the same ClaimsCore, configured per program.
FIND THE SEAT YOUR TEAM SITS IN
The Domestic Market
From the firms that work and handle the claim up to the carriers behind it, in the order each seat builds on the last. Pick yours to see where ClaimsCore fits and what that seat typically adds to it.
Independent Adjusters and Adjusting Firms
Assignment rules route each claim by loss location and adjuster workload, on an ordinary day and when a catastrophe hits. Time and expenses are tracked against each claim by client, so billing draws on what was already entered. Unity Claims Management, a multi-line adjusting firm, renewed with VCA in 2026.
TPAs
Every client's workflows, authority limits, and reporting on one platform. PIB, which administers complex property and general liability programs across the United States and Latin America, renewed with VCA in 2026.
MGAs and Programs
Authority limits and reporting set per program, whether your own team handles the claims or your TPAs do. Accelerant, Hadron, and Thomas Miller run program business on VCA.
Brokers
You run claims for your clients under delegated claims authority, and each client gets its own workflows, authority limits and reporting on the same ClaimsCore. Western Financial Group runs delegated claims authority programs on VCA.
Carriers
Lead with claims and keep the rest of your core: ClaimsCore runs beside the policy system you already have. Subrogation and salvage recoveries post against the reserve they offset. TWICO runs its claims on VCA.
Specialty and Fronting Carriers
Each specialty line gets a claim set up for that line. Fronted programs put your paper behind MGAs and program administrators, and the claims on them are still yours to answer for, program by program.
Captives and Self-Insureds
Your TPA handles the claims and you still own the loss fund. When that TPA works on VCA, ClientPortal, an add-on, shows you every reserve movement, with who made it and why. TELUS, a self-insured organization, runs its claims on VCA.
Public Entities and Government
Your programs and authority limits, configured on the same ClaimsCore a carrier runs, with permissions down to individual actions and a record of who did what and when.
Law Firms
Your firm handles claims on its clients' behalf, each client set up with its own workflows and authority limits on the same ClaimsCore a TPA runs.
WHY VCA
What Every Seat Gets From VCA
Every seat on this page meets the same claim from a different side. VCA builds for the claim itself, which is why one platform goes deep enough for each of them.
- Depth of Claims ExpertiseBuilt from the claim up, by an adjuster, for every seat that meets the claim. VCA knows the jobs, not just software. Why VCA →
- Speed of ImplementationDiscovery first, then live in weeks, not years, because VCA builds for claims work, not a whole suite. How Implementation Works →
- Capital EfficiencyThe claims layer beside the systems you already run, instead of a rip-and-replace project across a whole suite. How Pricing Works →
Questions a Buyer Should Ask
Which side of the Lloyd's market does VCA serve?
The delegated side, and the syndicates that rely on it. Delegated claims administrators (DCAs), coverholders and Lloyd's brokers handling claims under delegated authority run claims administration, adjuster workflow, and bordereau production to London on VCA. For a syndicate and its managing agent, the value is oversight: each reserve change, contact and payment its delegated administrators make, in structured data on the day it happens. VCA does not agree claims on the market's behalf.
Which carriers is VCA built for?
Tier 3 to 5 carriers, specialty and fronting carriers, and any carrier whose claims operation needs to be live in weeks beside the policy system it already runs. Replacing a whole core over several years is a different kind of purchase.
Does VCA handle workers' compensation?
No. VCA supports every property and casualty line: personal and commercial lines, casualty, property, specialty, in-house programs, and subscription and individual-risk market business. Not workers' compensation or health benefits claims.
How long does it take to go live, and what happens after?
Every implementation starts with discovery: VCA maps how your claims actually move, from intake sources and authority levels to reporting obligations and the handoffs between teams and partners, before anything is configured. A Standard License deployment, configured to your workflows, is live in 3 to 4 weeks; an Enterprise License deployment takes 8 to 16 weeks, and a Carrier License deployment 12 weeks to 6 months. File handlers typically learn the platform in about 30 minutes, and once your claims are live, client services is reachable at clientservices@vcasoftware.com.
What comes with VCA ClaimsCore, and what is an add-on?
VCA ClaimsCore is the claims platform, complete on its own. Add-ons are added to it for specific jobs: ClientPortal, for example, gives your own clients a login to the claims that concern them. No add-on is sold without ClaimsCore, and a client running only ClaimsCore is never at a disadvantage.
Is our claims data ours to take out of VCA?
Yes. While you run on VCA, DataBridge, an add-on to VCA ClaimsCore, delivers your claims data into your own data warehouse or BI tool on a schedule you set, as often as hourly, with only changes pushed. For the end of an agreement, ask for the format, timing and cost of returning your data in writing, as you should of any claims vendor.
